West Ranch High School
Register for driver education at West Ranch High School in Stevenson Ranch. Five O Driving School offers behind-the-wheel driving lessons at West Ranch High School.
If you are under the age of 18:
- Step 1. Take the 30-hour online class. Register now.
- Step 2. Go to the DMV to complete the knowledge test and receive your instructional permit. You must bring a printed copy of your Certificate of Completion from the online course.
- Step 3. Register below for behind-the-wheel lessons and schedule online. The DMV requires students under 18 to have a minimum of six hours of behind the wheel training with a licensed instructor.
- Step 4. Practice driving with a parent/guardian for 50 hours (10 at night).
- Step 5. After your 16th birthday, if you've completed all six hours of driving lessons, and you've had your instructional permit for six months, you can take the road test at the DMV.
If you are over the age of 18:
- Step 1: Go to the DMV to complete the knowledge test and receive your instructional permit.
- Step 2: Register below for behind-the-wheel lessons and schedule online.
- Step 3: Take the DMV driving test when ready.

Santa Clarita Single 2-Hour Behind The Wheel Driving Lesson
This Option Is Great If You:
- Already met your DMV minimum requirement but want a little extra practice.
- Have had lessons with another school but would like to transfer to Five O Driving School.
- Are an International driver over 18 who needs to get a CA driver's license.

DMV Drive Test in Santa Clarita
- Use of the Five O Driving School vehicle for the DMV driver's test
- One 45-minute refresher course before the DMV test appointment
- Pick up and transportation to and from DMV
This lesson can be added to any package, but student must take at least two behind-the-wheel lessons with Five O Driving School in order to qualify. Please call our office and we will schedule the DMV appointment for you.
